WARNING!

Twitter, in it's finite wisdom, has CANCELLED my account! After an unannounced suspension and half a dozen generic responses to my inquiries the best I can figure out is...I used software that is not approved by Twitter (?). As part of my research to create this page I did upon occasion actually use many of the Apps I posted here, so I have no clue which one(s) they found offensive, but since I was suspended without cause or notice and then cancelled with no clear reason, I felt it necessary to warn my readers before they too find their accounts CLOSED!

Getting the most from your Twitter account

     Over the past decade Social Media has brought a whole new aspect to the Internet, both from a Social as well as a Business viewpoint. Think of these sites as high powered mchines that drive the way we communicate to whole new levels. As with any machine the key to gaining peak performance is to keep it properly tuned so as to gain peak performance.  
    Almost since it was first released Twitter has had access to many applications to allow the user to do many things. Whether using it as a way to keep in touch with friends and family, to following news and sports, or as a marketing tool for business there have been a series of new products released to allow the user to get the most from the "basic" Twitter social media platform.

    You must think of your Twitter account as you would any powerful yet finely crafted machine, not unlike a fine automobile that you would customize to your own unique specifications. If you use your account for business it becomes a reflection of you as a business person, so you want to look closely at the available accessories and set it up so that you can do things smoothly and in a timely manner.

    A few weeks ago I decided after looking at the various tweets online that I should look at the available desktop applications, to see if there was one more in tune with my needs. When I started looking I expected to find a handful to look at and choose from...I was shocked to find out how many there were and what the differences were! My eyes were opened to find hundreds of apps for Twitter dating back to 2007! I ended up downloading almost a dozen of the desktop apps along with several I already had and still have not decided on which one I like best! It puts car shopping in a new light! Since I have put so much time into research I decided that I would put together this "Tune Up" kit with some of the latest entries on the market as well as some other Twitter related items that might come in handy to a marketer retooling their program.

    Keep this page bookmarked as I plan to add any new items I come across over time. Remember that although I represent some of these on an affiliate basis I am NOT offering any suggestions. Each individual is different and has needs that are just as different. I will only say that most of these I have given a "Test Drive" and done some serious research online before deciding to display them. Please take as much time as you need (Most have a free test period) and decide which of these tools will help YOU make your job easier in the long run.
